This is a very rich Barolo, dense with supple tannins, full of concentrated ripe fruit, elegant and powerful, a marvelous intensity to the fruit, along with substantial grip on the finish with an extremely long life. Menthol, tar and smoke are some of the notes that remain on the close. Produced in small quanities and only in excellent vintages.
